Senior Internal Controls Analyst (DLA – OMB A‑123)

About the Role
Join our team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) Risk Management and Internal Control (RMIC) program. You’ll help develop, implement, and assess internal controls, support audit readiness, and strengthen risk management activities across major DLA commands.
Responsibilities
Support RMIC activities aligned with OMB A‑123 and GAO Green Book
Develop process documentation (process maps, narratives, SOPs)
Conduct process walkthroughs and identify control gaps
Prepare Test of Design (TOD) and Test of Effectiveness (TOE) plans
Execute control testing and document results
Maintain RMIC documentation (risk registers, RCMs, ICEPs, CAPs)
Draft reports, briefings, and recurring program updates
Assist with Corrective Action Plans and closure packages
Support PBC requests for auditors and DLA HQ
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
4+ years in financial management, audit readiness, or internal controls
1–2+ years supporting federal internal control programs (DoD/DLA preferred)
Knowledge of OMB A‑123 and GAO Green Book
Experience with process documentation and business process analysis
Proficiency in MS Office

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Belvoir, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.27/hr.
