Aerotek 1st Shift - Machine Operator in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to operate a range of equipment including pre-set press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers. The role involves ensuring that parts meet quality and delivery requirements, conducting quality inspections, and performing tooling changes as needed. Advancement to a Machine Operator Fab 2 position involves additional responsibilities such as setting up, editing programs, and operating multiple machines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate pre-set press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers.

  • Ensure parts meet customer quality and delivery requirements.

  • Conduct quality inspections of parts.

  • Perform tooling changes when necessary.

  • If advanced to Machine Operator Fab 2, conduct more setups, edit programs, and operate multiple machines.

Essential Skills

  • 1 year of experience with Brake Press, turret, punch press, or CNC machines.

  • 2 years of experience using a micrometer, caliper, tape measure, and running a machine.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Blueprint reading skills.

  • Experience with machine operation and fabrication.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Atkinson, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35000.00 - $45000.00/yr.

Growth opps to move up quickly into a Machine Op 2 that comes with a $1.50 raise Employee owned Direct placement Competitive benefits and insurance. 8 week training and a 90 day review Annual raises: 2-4% Goal sharing: monthly incentive based off of efficiency, delivery, safety and scrap.
