DNC Parks & Resorts at Kalaloch, Inc. located in Forks, WA, seeks two (2) full-time, temporary Kitchen Utility Workers who will be responsible for ensuring that all levels for sanitizer on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards at DNC Parks & Resorts at Kalaloch's property. Kitchen Utility Workers will wash dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand. Maintain the kitchen work areas, storage areas, and equipment in clean and orderly condition including placing clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. Kitchen Utility Workers will prepare various foods (without cooking) to be cooked or served. Kitchen Utility Workers will be able to perform job duties in varying temperatures in the kitchen, and comfortable working around exposure to and contact with chemical cleaning agents, broken glass, or sharp metal cans as there is a possibility of scalds, burns, and slipping and tripping. Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves in storerooms and freezers. Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, twist, bend, squat, push and pull. Removes trash from dish room and transports to the dumpster. Cleans and sanitizes garbage cans as well as sweeps and scrubs floors.
Will report directly to the Executive Chef at DNC Parks & Resorts at Kalaloch, Inc.
Three (3) months of experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.
Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employer's expense.
Travel is not required.
Daily transportation to and from worksite is not provided. Employee housing is within walking distance to worksite.
On-the-job training is provided.
Wage: $18.82 - $20.82per hour, paid weekly. Overtime is available at $28.23 - $31.23 per hour. * *

Employees may be eligible for period wage increases based on performance or other factors. When offered, associates could be eligible to receive a seasonal or any other available bonus. When offered, the amount is dependent upon length of season the associate worked, and work performance. Whether or not to use the bonus for the season is up to the discretion of the Leadership Team.
Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 5:00am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 8:00pm, and 5:00pm - 12:00am. Shift hours may vary.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.
Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $85.00 per week. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. Employees will receive one (1) free shift meal when they are working.
Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker's sole benefit, including but not limited to health insurance. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck.
All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made.
If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed
