Job Title: CNC Programmer and Operator Job Description
The CNC Programmer is a valued contributor responsible for producing machined parts by programming in G code, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine and manual machines. The role involves maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
Program CNC lathes and mills.
Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
Read and understand drawings.
Set up and operate complex production parts.
Machine various metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum.
Operate mills, lathes, drill press, and surface grinders.
Run forklifts to transport products and raw materials.
Essential Skills
Previous CNC programming experience.
Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
Experience with G-Codes.
Precision measuring tools and hand tool experience.
Lathe programming with Mori Seiki & Doosan.
Forklift operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in using calipers and inspection tools.
Familiarity with GD&T.

Work Environment
This position operates within a CNC shop environment. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Forest Grove, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
