Schedule
12-Hour Shifts On A 2-2-3 Schedule Rotation
What You Will Do
Set up and operate a converting bag machine.
Adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery; performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
Train operators to make minor to mid adjustments and repairs on machinery.
Read work orders to ensure correct material use and quality specifications.
Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
Provide feedback to the Production Supervisors & Production Manager on machine upkeep and issues.
Set print and gauge printers.
Lead by example, with a positive outlook, through practice and work habit, a desire to follow all policies and procedures in the plan environment to develop and maintain a safe, efficient, high quality, low waste workplace and maximize the development of the personnel they lead.
Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group.
Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies.
Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
What you Bring
Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment—someone who takes initiative and manages their own workflow effectively.
Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to quickly assess issues and make sound decisions on the floor.
Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.
Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks to support smooth plant operations.
Prior machine maintenance experience is required.
