Eaton Corporation Warehouse Associate- 2nd Shift in Fontana, California

Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate- 2nd Shift at our Fontana, CA facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 4:30 p.m. - 1 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00+ $1.25 Shift differential per hour.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s Electrical division is seeking a Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift DC Operations individual for the Fontana Distribution Center.

Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate role is responsible for receiving,labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a

concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. We only want dynamic, career-minded people who are willing to dedicate themselves to this job.

In this function, you will:

  • Unload and unpack shipments of products

  • Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities

  • Report damages or shortages to the appropriate person

  • Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork

  • Record receiving data in company systems Manhattan WM

  • Prepare and organize received stock for moves put away.

  • Identify any damage product and follow the nonconformance process

  • Verify packages according to order and ASN’s, STO and PO’s (quantity, quality, etc.)

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of six(6) months experience operating a Cherry Picker and/or Stand-Up Reach Truck.

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.

  • Prior experience shipping, receiving or selling related products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating Raymond equipment.

  • Prior WMS console, SAP ECC Projection Systems-P47 and Manhattan WMS experience.

  • Forklift certification.

Position Success Criteria:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and bend and lift 50 lbs or more with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.

  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Must have basic math and recording abilities.

  • Must have working knowledge of of computers and be skilled with RF scanners.

  • Ability to adhere to all safety, quality, and productivity standards.

  • Ability to be self motivated and work independently with little supervision.

  • Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on operational needs.

  • Must be responsive to customer requests both internal and external.
