Job Title: Punch Press Operator
Job Description
The CNC Punch Press Operator is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. The role ensures quality control and adheres to safety standards, along with performing preventive maintenance to produce cost-effective products.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Punch Press.
Conduct daily preventive maintenance.
Perform first part inspections and in-process quality checks.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Essential Skills
Recent 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment
Proficiency in CNC Punch Press operations required
Experience in metalworking or hollow metal fabrication.
Dexterity with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery.
Ability to read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders.
Ability to layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools.
Proficiency in utilizing computer output from CAD/CAM systems.
Skill in entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing equipment is preferred.

The role is performed in an industrial environment where you will need to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
