Basic Job Functions:
The Environmental Engineer is responsible for leading safety and environmental compliance atthe Division. An Environmental Engineer may be assigned any combination of the duties listedbelow as their primary responsibilities depending upon skills and Division needs.
Essential position responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain environmental compliance for all environmental regulations
Implementation and management of environmental programs (air, water, waste, etc.)including permitting and reporting
Lead environmental compliance for construction projects
Oversee contractors and onsite customers conducting environmental related projects
Education and training of the team
Engaging with the plant wide team for solutions to problems and promoting continualimprovement
Participating in community outreach initiatives
Build relationships with regulators

Minimum Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience or 4-year degree in engineering,environmental science, or another related field
Understanding and knowledge of environmental compliance, permitting, operations, andmaintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of environmental compliance related experience in a manufacturing or industrialenvironment
High level of integrity
Experience interfacing with local regulatory agencies, community leaders, and legislators
Experience with ISO14001 or other related management system
Experience with construction and project management
