Job Summary
Are you an experienced food scientist with a passion for cheese innovation and a drive to bring new ideas to life? Join our team as a Scientist II – Research & Development Foodservice and play a key role in leading new product development, line extensions, and process improvements from ideation through launch. You’ll apply strong scientific methods and project management skills to deliver high-quality results on time, collaborate cross-functionally, support scale-up and validation, and serve as a technical resource across the organization. What you need to be considered for the role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or other related field required. Master's Degree in Food Science or other related field preferred.
Bachelor's degree and two (2) or more years of experience in dairy product research; or Master's Degree, with internship experience in dairy product research preferred.
Ability / willingness to travel to other Grande Facilities across the Enterprise 50% of the time, dependent on projects.
Broad scientific skills and knowledge (microbiology, chemistry, statistics, biology, sensory science, food science, dairy science, biochemistry).
Statistical methodologies.
Effective writing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
Leading and participating in multidisciplinary sub teams in well defined small to moderate sized projects.
