Job Summary
Grande in Fond du Lac is looking for our next Network Product Supply Planner I! In this role you’ll be a key contributor on the Planning team, supporting the flow of operations from milk procurement through finished product shipment. You’ll help develop and communicate weekly production schedules for cheese and whey products, coordinate with plants and co‑manufacturers, and monitor finished goods inventory to ensure quality age guidelines are met. This role works closely with customer service, manufacturing, milk procurement, and distribution teams to manage priorities, resolve scheduling challenges, and maintain steady production and service levels.
In addition to daily planning and coordination, this role supports continuous improvement across systems and processes. You’ll assist with raw material (milk) balancing, inventory management, and ERP‑based planning and reporting, while helping identify opportunities to streamline master planning and drive efficiencies. From supplier‑managed inventory oversight to reporting and process documentation, this position offers hands‑on exposure to enterprise planning, supply chain operations, and system optimization; ideal for a detail‑oriented professional building a foundation in manufacturing and supply planning!
What you need to be considered for the role:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Dairy Science, Animal Science, or another related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Internship or other related experience in production and inventory management and/or supply chain management experience preferred.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as discounts, interests, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits.
Adaptability with computer skills
Preferred:
APICS or CSCMP participation a plus.
Lean/Six Sigma certification a plus.
