Solstice Advanced Materials Maintenance Planner & Scheduler in Fombell, Pennsylvania
As a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler here at Solstice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will be responsible for developing work plans & schedules for maintenance mechanics, engaging with suppliers & vendors, managing critical spares, and ensuring equipment/parts are available to perform maintenance work, as well as occasionally performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that our facilities are safe and efficient.

Your expertise in maintenance planning & scheduling will help to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and customers, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance Planning
Develop and issue weekly and strategic maintenance plans and schedules on a craftsperson level via SAP
Analyze site routine, urgent, and emergency Work Notifications and convert to Work Orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to site standards
Maintain site work order list / queue to ensure accuracy
Engage with vendors and suppliers to acquire parts, pieces, and services for maintenance purposes
Ensure Work Order specific parts are available prior to job planning
Equipment Maintenance / Record Keeping
Create, Update, and Maintain critical equipment and instrumentation records using SAP and / or hard-copy file systems
Maintain site equipment Functional Location structure via SAP
Ensure equipment is field-tagged per site standards
Ensure critical contractor emergency blanket Purchase Orders (POs) are created and maintained with minimum funding available
Manage critical Maintenance Department (Boiler, Cooling Tower, Paints, Solvents, Lubricants,……etc) chemical inventory, including Kanban adherence
Accept and deliver physical parts to Department storage locations
Accept or Accrue on-site service monthly
Preventative Maintenance
Create, update, and maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans with focus on strategic, recurring PM work orders
Ensure annual PM service Purchase Orders (POs) for critical equipment / contractors are issued and available for use
Review site Process Safety Management Critical (PSMC) PM dashboard to ensure scheduling and execution compliance
Job-Specific / Spare Parts Management
Obtain quotes, complete catalog purchases, and order job-specific and spare parts via SAP
Develop and maintain equipment spare parts Bill of Materials (BOMs), breaking down complicated equipment to the part level
Develop and maintain stocking plans / Kanban systems for critical equipment and general spare parts
Maintenance Excellence
Input weekly ME metric data
Participate in weekly site ME metric review meeting including metric reviews and action planning

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the maintenance schedule, ensuring that all activities are properly planned and scheduled
Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks
Optimize resource allocation, considering factors such as availability, skillset, and priority of tasks
Monitor and track the progress of maintenance activities, ensuring that they are completed within the defined timelines
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules and operational requirements
Identify and address any scheduling conflicts or constraints, making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth execution of maintenance tasks
Generate reports and provide regular updates on the status of maintenance activities to the Maintenance Manager and other stakeholders
Qualifications
COMPENSATION
The annual base pay range for this position is $61,121-$76,452. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning
Strong computer skills
Strong communication skills
WE VALUE
Experience with SAP or some type of MRP process is very important
Experience with preventive maintenance programs
Experience in the metal processing and forging operations
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
