About the Role
In this role, you will set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures, interpret mechanical drawings, and ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned tasks. You’ll work under direct supervision with clear guidelines, making this an excellent fit for early?career candidates looking to gain hands?on manufacturing experience.
This position requires passing a physical capability test prior to assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and adjust production machinery per work instructions
Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation to select and position equipment
Ensure accurate machine settings to meet specifications and quality standards
Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within assigned timeframes
Monitor equipment for proper function and notify supervisor of issues
Follow established procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Adhere to all safety, quality, and production guidelines
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
0–2 years of experience in machine operation or a related field
Ability to follow written instructions and work under close supervision
Familiarity with basic manufacturing concepts, tools, and safety practices
Ability to learn and perform repetitive technical tasks with accuracy
Preferred
Completion of an apprenticeship or formal manufacturing training
Previous experience in machine operation or production environments
Special Considerations
Lifting: Up to 30 lbs; not highly repetitive
Environment: Moderate exposure to machinery; potential chemical, biological, or physical risks
Equipment: May operate a powered industrial truck (industrial?level or heavy, depending on conditions)
PPE & Safety: Must follow all required safety precautions

Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
