Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Oracle Financials Business Analyst / Systems Analyst to support a client in the utility-industry undergoing modernization of long-standing Oracle Financials implementations. This role will focus on enhancing AP/AR and Treasury processes, reducing manual work through automation, and ensuring Oracle functionality is fully leveraged. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of finance expertise and technical systems analysis, acts as a trusted technical lead, and plays a key role in requirements documentation, testing, and solution validation.
• Document business and system requirements for Oracle Financials enhancements
• Support AP/AR and Treasury process improvements and automation initiatives
• Review and validate Oracle configurations
• Make recommendations to leverage Oracle functionality more effectively
• Execute system and integration testing; prepare detailed test cases
• Analyze Excel DB macros and identify automation opportunities
• Cross-check system functionality post-development
pay range: $30-45/hr

Skills and Requirements
6+ years of BA or System Analyst background
Bachelors degree in related field
Strong Finance domain knowledge with IT background
Oracle Financials experience
Experience documenting requirements aligned to business direction
Experience with Excel DB macro analysis Utility industry background
Experience modernizing legacy Oracle implementations
Automation experience within Oracle Financials
Testing execution and validation experience
