Title: Maintenance Technician
Required Shift:
12 hour 2-2-3 Rotating Night Shift
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
Job Purpose:
Troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on all assigned equipment, including basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems at the component level (e.g., packaging, conveying, processing or facilities equipment, etc.). Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PMs) and support Operations with setting up equipment and changeover. Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Repair or replacement of failed components, troubleshoot unknown equipment issues, and making centerline adjustments to assigned equipment. Document Work Orders (WOs) and PMs using the computerized maintenance management system (SAP) for Plant maintenance functions. Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Teams, train operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AMs) activities, and participate in Breakdown Analysis/Elimination efforts.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have met time in role (12+ Months)
Must have line manager approval to apply
Must be in good standing in current role
2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
Basic Computer skills required (e.g., Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Capable of operating assigned equipment, once trained
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces.
Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
Requires Work Keys Certification & successful completion of Standard Timing Model Assessment
Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write basic work-related English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Technical degree
Possess fundamental understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic & mechanical schematics/drawings
Work in confined spaces, as required, and adhere to regulations and policies
Perform “Hot Work” as necessary to include grinding; trained as required
Successfully complete basic First Aid and CPR
Understand TPM Theory and Concepts
Understand/adhere to Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Working From Heights and all other plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
