TITLE: Director of Technology, Confidential, 1.0 FTE, District Wide Position (260 Days) PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Director of Technology is responsible for leading and managing the district\'s technology infrastructure, policies, and services to support student learning, administrative operations, and future growth. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all technology systems, including data collection, processing, reporting, network infrastructure, security, hardware and software. Additionally, the Director collaborates with district leadership to align technology initiatives with educational and operational goals, ensuring seamless integration across schools and departments. RESPONSIBLE TO: Business Manager and Superintendent. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: \' Higher education in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required. \' Job experience of at least five years in a leadership role in the technology field is expected with experience in Education preferred. \' Industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, Microsoft) are a plus. \' Strong leadership in developing and sharing vision, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture. \' Ability to anticipate trends in educational technology and lead effective change. \' Experience in budget planning, resource allocation, and cost-effective technology implementation. \' Knowledge of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and IT service management. \' Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
