Job Title: Welder Job Description
As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing grinding on parts and welding equipment, primarily focusing on MIG welding with some stick welding. You will need to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Operating machines for making and coiling welding wire will be part of your duties, and training will be provided. You will also complete the setup and operation of machines, including tool changes, machine adjustments, quality checks, and minor repairs, with training available. The role includes loading and unloading wire containers, measuring with O.D. micrometers in both metric and standard units, and performing preventative maintenance on the mill. You will operate an overhead crane and other equipment as required around the plant.
Responsibilities
Perform grinding on parts and weld equipment.
Conduct MIG welding primarily, with some stick welding.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Operate and set up machines for welding wire production, with training provided.
Complete tool changes, machine adjustments, quality checks, and minor repairs.
Load and unload full and empty wire containers.
Measure using O.D. micrometers (metric and standard), with training provided.
Perform preventative maintenance on the mill.
Operate an overhead crane and other necessary equipment around the plant.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Experience with grinding and fabrication processes.
Understanding of welding techniques such as TIG and flux core.
Experience with stainless steel and aluminum welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Openness to travel for up to 4 weeks out of the year.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
