Mazak Corporation Press Brake Operator in Florence, Kentucky
DescriptionMazak Corporation is hiring a Press Brake Operator to join our Fabrication Department located at our headquarters in Florence, KY. A press brake operator will form different gauges of sheet metal on CNC Press Brake to various angles and shapes. This is a second shift position. The hours for this position are M-TH 3:30pm-2am.Scope and Responsibilities:- Pull parts from baskets.- Correctly forming sheet metal to various degrees of bend according to blueprint specifications.- Responsible for making sure all parts are in the basket according to plots and summaries.- Verification that machine is in safe working condition daily.- Standing for long periods of time is required.- Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.Education/Certification:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Technical school or Vocational School diploma preferredSkills:- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints.- Must have previous knowledge of protractors and gauges.- CNC Machine experience is preferred.- Attention to detail and precision in work- Safety focused mindset is required- Experience working independently and as part of a team Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
