SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Gaming department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or team member challenges.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position.
- Supervises the operation of all slot machines and performance of slot floor staff in assigned area and communicates with shift manager of any guest and/or employee problems.
- Organizes the assigned shift and area including, daily employee assignments, employee break schedules and staffing levels.
- Verifies slot pay outs (jackpots, fills, etc.) and booth buying/selling, maintains security of monies within the department.
- Strives to meet revenue goals by ensuring all slot machines are in working order. Notifies slot maintenance of repair.
- Supervises count in/count out of change banks and booths when variances occur; records and tracks variances, and check voids.
- Makes recommendations and suggestions to hire, suspend, evaluate, promote, assign, reward and/or discipline the employees in his/her span of supervision.
- Supports training programs for each position and ensures adequate training and development is provided for each employee.
- Promotes all departmental and property-wide promotions.
- Maintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as the propertys internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the companys guest service culture standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Assistant Gaming Manager and Gaming Manager, then the Director of Gaming.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- Strong organizational skills required.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent or education required. A minimum of one to two years of experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance, regularly carry and lift 25 lbs.
