Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing knowledge of programmable logic controllers and ohmmeters.
• Conduct welding tasks as necessary for repairs or modifications.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in residential painting projects as required.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with staff or clients regarding maintenance issues.
• Supervise junior maintenance staff as needed, providing leadership and guidance in daily operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably within manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of equipment.
• Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with programmable logic controllers is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience in welding techniques is desirable.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact positively with clients and team members.
