Kelly Services Light Assembly Worker – Production Associate in Flint, Michigan

Job Description:

Join our team as a Production Associate specializing in the assembly of kits for automotive parts. You’ll be responsible for tasks such as assembling boxes and supporting our largest client, GM. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, follow detailed instructions, and consistently maintain a safe and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble boxes and kits for automotive parts

Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Use hand tools (hot glue gun, stapler, tape gun, paint roller) – no power tools

Read a tape measure and perform basic math/computer tasks

Meet hourly production goals

Comply with strict attendance policies

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English

Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Capable of frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending (up to 45 lbs.), and standing/walking for entire shifts

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

No food or personal items on the floor (lockers available)

Water in clear bottles allowed on the floor

No cell phone use permitted on the production floor

Shift:

Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
