Porter Job DescriptionPosition Summary: A Porter is responsible for keeping facilities clean, organized, and well-maintained. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all areas — such as lobbies, restrooms, offices, and common spaces — are neat, safe, and ready for use. Porters often assist with light maintenance, deliveries, and general upkeep.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness in assigned areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal).Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and public areas.Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms or events.Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.Perform light repairs or maintenance tasks as needed.Handle deliveries and ensure proper storage of materials.Follow company safety procedures and cleaning standards.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or maintenance experience a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.Good attention to detail and reliability.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Provides 26 weeks of Professional Porter Training Program.
