Hunterdon Health Care System PART TIME Department Secretary (Medication Access Program Coord) in Flemington, New Jersey
Position Summary
Provides administrative and research support for the Medication Access Program.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Screen all patient referrals for possible inclusion in HCMAP program.
Maintain and update patient database.
Maintain and update statistical database.
Prepare new patient and annual visit appointment charts and schedule appointments.
Prepare HCMAP quarterly summary reports for both statistical reports and e-fund.
Order office supplies and resupply of all packets and materials in department.
Update and maintain spreadsheets of various department resources.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred:
Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training in secretarial skills
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

2 years customer service

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Telephone etiquette, organizational skills, ability to adjust and deal effectively with frequent interruptions and workload, computer literate (Windows, Word, Excel), ability to function independently, ability to problem solve effectively.
Preferred:
Prior professional administrative position, PC application and medical office courses. Exposure to a hospital or medical office environment beneficial. Experience in patient registration and insurance approval process. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
