Position: Ag Equipment Operator 

Requirements: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional comppensation or benefits at the employer's discretion. Workers must be responsible, follow instructions, and comply with attendance, punctuality, and work schedules, as repeated absenteeism, failure to meet job expectations, misconduct, insubordination, or violations of safety protocols may result in termination. The use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies, and smoking, alcohol, and firearms are strictly prohibited in work areas and in employer-provided housing. Workers may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing at no cost to the employee, with failure to comply or a positive test result leading to termination.

Job Description: The job entails working with animals and machinery, outdoors in all types of weather (extreme heat, wind, and cold), and occasional exposure to herding hazards, such as cattle stampedes. Performs duties like: apply or administer medication/vaccinations; mix additives in feed; check and maintain feed/water; place mineral blocks. Workers will dock, castrate, and brand livestock. Ride horse or 4-wheeler to move cows; confine livestock in stalls; herd livestock to various pastures; drive equipment. Use loader tractor and skid steer to pile manure in the feedlot and calving barns. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest and store crops/hay. Make hay; hoist and stack hay bales onto wagon or truck. Haul hay to yard from hay field with hay trailer. Load and unload trucks. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools or farm workers. Clean out bins. Repair and maintain barbed wire fence. Cleanup. General lubrication, service (checking fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Farming with: Corn, Wheat

Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 66 hrs per week.

Schedule: Grand Farming Enterprises will use the workers Monday for 11 hours, Tuesday for 11 hours, and Wednesday for 11 hours. They will work from 7am to 7pm.Flagler Aerial Spraying (Secondary on joint) will use the workers Thursday for 11 hours, Friday for 11 hours and Saturday for 11 hours. They will work from 7am to 7pm.

Anticipated Period of Employment: 03/15/2026 to 12/31/2026.

Effective 1/1/25: Overtime must be paid after 48 hours/week, or 56 hours/week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers
