Job Brief
The Quality Improvement Assistant supports the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and provides administrative and operational support to the Quality Improvement (QI) Department.

Monday - Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm

$21.00 hr -$21.00 hr
Position Duties
Assist the QI Department in managing documentation and tracking systems related to incidents, training, and surveys
Conduct follow-up quality improvement surveys across Hudson Valley Day and Residential Programs, Incident Management, and Article 16 Clinic
Assist with internal QI surveys, review and track Plans of Corrective Action (POCAs) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
Support investigations, incident management, trend reporting, and training activities
Perform administrative tasks including word processing, faxing, scanning, filing, calendar management, and meeting support
Compile and prepare reports identifying trends and systemic issues for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and agency policies, working collaboratively with management and program staff to address identified issues
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Participate in standing committees and meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes
Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in developmental disabilities and/or OPWDD regulatory compliance
Knowledge of city, state, and federal regulations governing ICFs, IRAs, day habilitation programs, supported employment, HCBS Waiver programs, and Article 16 Clinics
Minimum 2 years’ office support experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office Suite, Excel, and Adobe
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Ability to travel to multiple CP Unlimited locations
Flexibility to work varied hours as needed
Adherence to all applicable laws, policies, and the agency’s corporate compliance program, including annual compliance training
License:
Valid New York State Driver’s License.
