Our client, a reputable company specializing in masonry products, is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales/Customer Service professional to join their team. As an Inside Sales/Customer Service representative, you will be an essential part of the customer support department, assisting both contractors and residential customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate friendliness, energy, reliability, conscientiousness, and a strong desire to learn about a wide range of products, contributing positively to the company's success.
Job Title: Inside Sales/Customer Service
Location: Fishkill, NY
Pay Range: $20
Shift: Monday through Saturday, with specific hours as detailed below
What's the Job?
Greet customers warmly and professionally, providing excellent service and support
Recommend appropriate products based on customer needs and inquiries
Utilize point of sale software and inventory systems to process transactions accurately
Assist in showing products in the yard and navigating the inventory
Support the team with various administrative tasks, including basic bookkeeping and accounts payable
What's Needed?
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or related roles
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and basic accounting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new products and systems
Physical ability to walk outside to the yard and upstairs to the office as needed
