Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Food & Beverage Supervisor . The Food & Beverage Supervisor requires an individual to have supervisory skills, customer service skills, positive attitude, knowledge of food preparation , oversee all areas in preparing location and area for day-to-day operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ordering, receiving and preparing food items
Maintaining food costs and budget goals
Ensures all locations are fully stocked prior to every event
Attend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with other departments
Ensures all requisitions to the Warehouse and Kitchen are received in a timely manner , in accordance with Company policy.
Coordinates with Kitchen on the timing and production of food preparation
Must possess effective communications skills to liaise between Kitchen and Warehouse Teams
Must possess effective communication with NPO Groups, bartenders , third party subcontractors and conc ession employees
Ability to oversee production of retail food operations to be prepared for peak and slow periods
Able to adequately trouble shoot point of sale equipment
Inventory and quality controls
Ability to h andle and properly respond to guest concerns
Working hours vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, and weekends
Maintains all concessions and bar equipment. Adheres to cleaning and sanitation schedule .
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises all Concessions personnel and NPO staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
Serve-safe certified
Education and/or Experience
At least 1 years of supervisor y experience in a retail food establishment
Must possess a valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses
Skills and Abilities
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
Results oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals.
Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
Computer skills to include Excel programs.
Must adhere to local Health Department codes.
