*How You'll Make an Impact: *
The Maintenance Associate supports the maintenance and upkeep of CNC machining equipment and facility operations to help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing environment. This entry-level role assists in performing routine maintenance, monitoring machine conditions, and supporting general facility maintenance activities. The position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with CNC equipment maintenance and develop technical skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Associate:
Working a full-time, onsite position at our Fife, Washington location.Assist with performing a variety of general maintenance tasks using hand and power tools.Support routine maintenance and monitoring of CNC machining equipment, including mills and lathes, under guidance. Assist with maintaining machine coolant and fluid levels and monitoring equipment for basic maintenance needs.Follow maintenance programs for CNC machining equipmentEnsure chip bins are emptied as needed and chip area is maintained.Ensure daily maintenance of machine coolant and fluid levels.Assist in machine and equipment maintenance and repair as directed.Follow established maintenance procedures and support efforts to improve workflow and operational efficiency.Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and policiesPerforms other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):
Basic Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning CNC machine maintenance and manufacturing equipment support.Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):
Exposure to CNC machining environments or manufacturing operations through school, internships, or previous work experienceBasic understanding of mechanical systems, machine maintenance, or industrial equipment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Team -oriented mindset with positive, proactive attitude.
