[The Slaughter Assistant performs all tasks related to the humane handling and processing of cows, sheep and pigs.]{contrast="auto"}[]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Assist with unloading and labeling of all trailered animals]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Maintain the health and safety of the animals while penned]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Assist in the humane slaughter of all animals]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Processing carcasses and hides]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Packaging meat products]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Cleaning the slaughter and processing equipment, safety items, the facility]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Other duties on assigned]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}

[Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs and work in a hot, humid environment with strong odors]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
