Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy programs to restore function and alleviate pain;
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to develop and adjust treatment plans;
Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records;
Educate patients on injury prevention and health promotion;
Provide instruction on assistive devices and home care exercises;
Maintain punctuality and reliability to support clinic operations;
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program;
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in Nevada;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) credential;
Minimum two years’ experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
Note: This position may require travel to other Reno Orthopedic Center locations as needed by management.
