Credit Union ONE SUMMER TELLER in FERNDALE, Michigan

Description

Greets members warmly and asks questions to determine their needs. Processes member financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.) accurately and in accord with credit union policies and procedures. Identifies member needs for additional services by actively listening, and responds by suggesting and explaining products and services to meet their needs, and referring member appropriately. Assists members with questions and/or problems relating to their accounts. Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and matches totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Sells / cross-sells additional products or services. Supports the mission, vision and values of Credit Union ONE.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum one year work-related experience; cash handling experience preferred. Computer literate. Ability to verbally communicate clearly and professionally. Preference will be given to prior financial services and/ or sales experience. Background checks are required.

Flexible hours up to 38 hrs/wk
