Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team
In this role, you will be the sole maintenance technician, working alongside two supervisors and operators
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continuous operation of the plant by performing preventative maintenance on machines, changing oils and filters, and handling facility maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and painting
Job Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth production
Change oils, filters, and coolants, and test viscosity in machines
Conduct facility maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and painting
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
Handle equipment related to robots, stamping/hydraulic presses, press brakes, conveyors, or lasers
Work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Identify when to seek assistance and collaborate with team members
Essential Skills
Experience with preventive maintenance on machines
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
Ability to manage tasks independently and efficiently
Familiarity with equipment such as robots, stamping/hydraulic presses, press brakes, and lasers
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Ferndale, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
