Stenerson Bros. Lumber Company Local Class B CDL Driver in Fergus Falls, Minnesota
Job Duties
Yard Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm No overnights! No weekends!
Essential Functions:
-Build stable, secure loads of materials to be delivered on our company trucks or on customer's vehicles
-Operate company trucks and equipment to safely deliver and unload materials in a timely manner
-Daily required inspections of trucks, forklifts, and other yard equipment
-Physically maintain stock of building materials
-Assist in inventory management by unloading vendor shipments
-Provide general labor in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
-Safely operate forklifts to load, unload or otherwise move materials (we can train)
-Operate power equipment to cut or shape materials
-Assist customers in warehouse and yard areas
-Stock warehouse/yard and pick material for delivery
Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum Experience Required
Must possess a current Class B Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Preferred is experience with lumber and building material delivery.
Must be able to perform the following basic skills at the time of employment:
-Maintain positive, professional attitude and outstanding customer service
-Ability to read maps/GPS and follow directions to various locations in and outside of the city
-Basic math skills to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
-Ability to recognize and properly react to safety hazards encountered
-Ability to uphold and embody the Company's Core Values: Competency, Character, Consistency, and Care
Must maintain flexibility in schedule during busy season.
