We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality to oversee the day-to-day functions involving our business office and reception areas to include, but not be limited to:
Employee supervision
Resident and employee record-keeping
Resident billing
Answering incoming telephone calls
Greeting residents, family members and visitors
Maintaining a positive first impression and good relationship with all persons to whom contact is made
This Business Office Coordinator reports to the Director. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are a priority in this position. This position description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Employees will be required to follow other job-related duties as requested by their supervisor.
Hours/Shifts
80 hours biweekly, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $19.01-$26.02/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.
Education / Special Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; bookkeeping and business office-related experience, knowledge and exhibited use of generally accepted accounting principles preferred but not required, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and the ability to operate a personal computer, telephone, postage, photocopy and fax machines. Must have good diction and knowledge of telephone courtesies. Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards the elderly is essential.
Physical Demands: Ability to type with accuracy and ability to sit for prolonged periods of time with some standing and walking. Ability to talk and express ideas by means of the spoken word in English. Ability to hear and receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound. Ability to do repetitive motions, moving the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Physical Requirements: This position involves sedentary-type work that is exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. Visual acuity is needed for visual inspection of data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminals, and extensive reading.
Mental Demands: Need to be able to work in close contact with multiple types of personalities. Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a calm, productive manner.
Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
