You're more than an employee, you're Swanston Equipment - Bobcat of Otter Tail's STORE (BRANCH) MANAGER! As Swanston's Store (Branch) Manager, you will be responsible for directing all day-to-day operational and transactional functions of the Fergus Falls, MN dealership location helping to ensure the branch is optimizing profitability, increasing market share, leading employees, and exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate, manage, and oversee the day-to-day activities of the branch while maintaining a high level of employee morale and maximizing customer satisfaction Manage and lead the workflow of direct reports in Sales, Service, Parts and Rental departments, while continuously evaluating and monitoring work progress and performance Maintain and collaborate with HR appropriate staffing levels by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and developing branch employees Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute branch specific goals, objectives, and strategies Identify and execute opportunities to increase dealership market share, cultivate branch growth, and sell customers on the products and services of Swanston Equipment Engage proactively with the local communities surrounding branch location to cultivate a thorough understanding of the market landscape Collaborate with the internal marketing team to identify and execute marketing strategies focused on branch growth Oversee the maintenance and management of the branch facility and dealership fleet, ensuring all assets are in optimal condition, compliant with safety standards, and operating efficiently to support business operations Participate in yearly budget preparation and monthly financial meetings for the branch and its departments Understand, maintain, monitor, and report on overall branch metrics and budgets Oversee and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing organization standards, processes, and procedures while adhering to legal regulations Act as the escalated point of contact to address customer issues and concerns promptly Maintain strong communication with the home office and other branches to maximize enterprise efforts Understand all aspects of the dealership and each departments contributions so as to act as a back up for branch departments as needed Perform additional tasks and/or duties as assigned Physical Requirements: Sit: 50% Stand: 40% Bend, crouch, stoop, twist, etc.: 10% Work Environment: Indoors & Outdoors; hot or cold environments Travel: 25% Noise: Low Lift up to: 75 lbs.
