Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is placing a Human Resource Generalist with a client in West County on a direct hire basis. The full time position for the Human Resource Generalist will be working along side the Human Resource Manager to assist new hire employees with their onboarding experience, employee benefits and HRIS system. This position will also track compliance qualifications, background check submittals, and training assignments. The Human Resource Generalist will back up payroll in Paylocity when they leave for vacation. The hours are 7:30AM-4:30PM. Travel on a rare occasion for career fairs or open enrollment. Responsibilities:
• Guide new employees through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
• Administer and manage employee benefits programs, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
• Monitor and track compliance requirements, including background checks and training assignments.
• Serve as a backup for payroll processes in Paylocity during absences or vacations.
• Maintain accurate records and updates within HRIS systems to support organizational needs.
• Coordinate occasional travel for career fairs and open enrollment events.
• Collaborate with the HR Manager to implement strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
• Support DOT compliance efforts by ensuring documentation and requirements are met.
• Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on generalist duties.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software, particularly Paylocity.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and benefit administration processes.
• Familiarity with compliance tracking, including DOT requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with onboarding processes and supporting new employee integration.
• Occasional travel availability for recruitment and benefits-related events. TalentMatch®
