Summary of Position


 

The Director of Supply Chain oversees and directs all aspects of the company's purchasing, supply chain, and facilities management functions across multiple divisions in the company's enterprise. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, vendor relations, and space utilization that align with organizational growth and strategic plans. The Director will play a key leadership role in developing long-term supply chain strategies, negotiating high-value vendor agreements, analyzing resource needs, and providing recommendations on operational efficiencies, including office space and facilities usage. By combining tactical purchasing responsibilities with strategic supply chain leadership, this position ensures the company's resources are managed effectively to support business goals.

 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


 

 

Leadership & Oversight

  1. Oversee the daily workflow, schedules, and performance of the Supply Chain & Purchasing Department.
  2. Provides strategic direction and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.
  3. Develops and mentors team members to strengthen overall departmental capabilities.

Vendor & Contract Management

  1. Leads vendor management and reporting processes, including development of Vendor Report Cards.
  2. Negotiate strategic vendor agreements, including payment terms, rebates, volume discounts, and multi-branch supply chain contracts.
  3. Serves as the company's representative in negotiations with key suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  4. Evaluates and approves conditions for issuing and awarding bids.
