Ack Trans, Inc. Transportation Operations Specialist in Feasterville Trevose, Pennsylvania
Job Duties:
- Track freight status and update internal systems with routing and delivery information.
- Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers regarding pickup schedules, delivery windows, and shipment updates.
- Review bills of lading, trip sheets, delivery confirmations, and other transportation documents for accuracy.
- Assist with route planning by monitoring traffic patterns, weather conditions, and delivery constraints.
- Maintain and organize operational records including load assignments, fuel logs, and shipping documentation.
- Prepare routine operations reports for management summarizing delivery timelines and freight progress.
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA documentation requirements by reviewing logs and safety records.
- Support dispatch and logistics workflow through load board updates, document coordination, and basic communication tasks.
- Help resolve transportation delays by coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
Support claims management for damaged, delayed, or lost shipments.
Special requirements:
High School diploma;
2 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics operations, freight support, or dispatch-related work.
