BMS CAT Restoration Lead Technician in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Position Summary
The Lead Water Mitigation Technician is responsible for performing advanced mitigation services and leading crews in the field. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows water damage restoration, can run a job site, and takes ownership of both the work and the team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and lead water mitigation services on residential and commercial losses
Execute water extraction, drying, and remediation procedures
Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment to ensure proper drying standards
Perform demolition, cleanup, and debris removal as needed
Set up containment and follow proper job site and safety procedures
Lead and support technicians on-site, ensuring quality and productivity
Communicate job progress with management and assist with required documentation
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
Requirements
IICRC WRT certification required
Proven experience in water mitigation and restoration
Previous experience leading or training crew members preferred
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and operate in tight spaces
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Fire and smoke restoration experience (IICRC FSRT) is a plus
