Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
Join our team as a General Laborer and contribute to the intricate processes within our piping room. You will be responsible for setting cages, applying indicators such as pipe size and batch number, using a blow torch on the inside of pipes, and cleaning and oiling molds. Proficiency with a tape measure and comfort with concrete, hand tools, and power tools are essential.
Responsibilities
Set cages and apply indicators (pipe size, batch number, etc.).
Blow torch the inside of pipes and clean and oil molds.
Use tape measure accurately and complete checklists with precision.
Rotate weekly between morning and afternoon crews.
Engage in repetitive work requiring keen attention to detail.
Essential Skills
Experience in general labor, especially within construction or trades.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
At least 2 years of job experience in similar roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with overhead crane operations is a bonus.
Blueprint reading skills are advantageous.
Assembly and production experience.
Basic landscaping and carpentry skills.
Forklift operation experience.

Work Environment
Work within an outdoor/warehouse/production setting. The warehouse is not climate-controlled, so be prepared to work in various weather conditions. The environment is dirty due to concrete handling.

This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
