Our client, an industry leader in data management and technology support, is seeking a Data Center Technician - Technical IT 4 - Nightshift to join their dedicated team. As a Data Center Technician - Technical IT 4 - Nightshift, you will be part of the technical support department supporting IT infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of hardware components such as racks, hard drives, and switches following detailed instructions and protocols.
Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling according to safety and deployment standards.
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware issues efficiently, replacing faulty components as needed.
Decommission hardware for simple upgrades and refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds, following standard procedures with minimal supervision.
Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to the appropriate Datacenter Technician Leads to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
What's Needed?
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and related components.
At least 1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
