Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center Substance Use Tech - Fayette - Part/Full Time in Fayette, Alabama
The Substance Use Tech responsibilities include providing effective supervision and emergency intervention in a Short-Term Adolescent Residential Treatment (START) program for teenage girls. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the SU Tech assists clients with daily activities and responsibilities; prepares meals; completes required documentation and services provided accurately and on time; and transports clients as necessary. Contributes to implementation, client safety, and care.
This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma, HS transcripts, or GED/HS equivalency certificate.
- A current/valid non-expired driver's license; be a minimum age of 21;and have an insurable driving record.
- Social security card
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and use computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
- Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available. Shifts are 12 p.m.-8 p.m., 4 p.m.-12 a.m., or 12 a.m.-8 a.m. The days scheduled will vary and will be discussed further during the interview.
