TBEI-Ox Bodies, Inc. Operations Intern in Fayette, Alabama
Responsible for working on special projects for the Engineering department. To include but not limited to:
- Process time studies to identify areas of improvement in the assembly process and installation.
- Assist the production department with special requests.
- Assist the Plant Manager with projects as they arise.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills, abilities and qualifications for this position:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: No experience necessary; however, looking for someone currently enrolled in college to pursue their bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management.
- Skills: Ability to represent the Company and interact with others in an ethical and appropriate manner; Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively, comfortable working in a dynamic environment; Willingness and ability to function as an effective team member through good communication and cooperation to meet departmental goals; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professionalism, and diplomacy; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; Touch-it-once, do-it-right approach to work responsibilities; Intellectually curious, commitment to excellence, and interest in learning new responsibilities once existing responsibilities are mastered.
