Fayette Park & Recreation Aquatic Lifeguard in FAYETTE, Alabama
- Monitor pool area for safety of swimmers.
- Rescue distressed persons, using rescue techniques and equipment.
- Contact emergency medical personnel in case of serious injury.
- Examine injured persons and administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, if necessary, using training and medical supplies and equipment.
- Warn recreational participants of inclement weather or unsafe areas
::: {dir="auto"} We will have at least four training classes for lifeguards before the season starts on May 23. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Lifeguards must be 15 years old or older at the time of training and must successfully pass the Lifeguarding course to be eligible for employment. Training and uniforms are paid for by the Fayette Aquatic Center. :::
