Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running CNC Mills and Lathes. You will work from a set of prints to machine customer-specific parts and ensure the quality of the parts. The role primarily involves machining sheet metal using vertical Haas machines. Additionally, you will perform light machine maintenance and troubleshooting while machining with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run CNC Mills and Lathes.

  • Work off a set of prints to machine customer-specific parts.

  • Inspect the quality of machined parts.

  • Primarily machine sheet metal using vertical Haas machines.

  • Perform light machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Machine parts with tight tolerances.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in CNC setup, mills, and lathes.

  • Experience with CNC Mill and CNC Lathe operations.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Knowledge of Haas and vertical mill operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in CNC Mill and CNC Lathes setup.

  • Troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

Work during the 1st shift from Monday to Wednesday, 6am-3:30pm, Thursday from 7am-3:30pm, and Friday from 7am-12pm, enjoying a half-day on Fridays. The facility offers a comfortable and climate-controlled environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Farmington, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
