Job Duties

Start Date: 04/01/2026

End Date: 12/01/2026

Work hours: 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day, 7:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Possible weekend/holiday work offered.

Job Duties:

Workers will assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Plant, cultivate, weed, harvest, wash, sort produce including bagging and boxing produce for market. Use hand-tools for weeding and carry ladders and buckets. Clean work and storage areas & other related Farmworker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).

Crops: Apples, sweet corn, squash, pumpkins.

Minimum Education Required

None. No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Must be 18 years of age.

Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.

Static strength: exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified.

Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures.

Variable weather conditions may apply.

Repetitive movements are required.

Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal.

Additional Compensation

Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer.

As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 03/24/2025). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
