Applogic Systems LLC has an opening for the position of DevOps Engineer (Ref# DE211MN).
Work Location: Farmington Hills, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions using industry best practices. Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery, automated deployments, and seamless integration across environments. Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to create workflows that promote stability, reliability, and operational efficiency. Identify and automate repetitive processes including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system monitoring to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Monitor infrastructure and application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure minimal downtime. Implement robust security practices across infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation to evaluate and adopt tools that enhance system performance and reliability. Mentor team members by sharing expertise in DevOps practices, tools, and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Partner with external vendors and third-party providers to assess and integrate innovative tools and technologies into the DevOps ecosystem. Use of Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Maven, Terraform, Grafana, Dynatrace, AWS, Azure, Linux, and Windows.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform. 40hrs/week.
