Kelly Services CNC Machinist – Large Parts – 2nd Shift in Farmington, Connecticut
Kelly Services is hiring a CNC Machinist (Large Parts Machining) in Farmington, CT!
Join a leading manufacturing environment supporting large parts machining operations. In this role, you’ll produce high-quality components that feed directly into production while maintaining strict quality and productivity standards.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate CNC machines for large part machining
Perform quality checks on weldments and machined components
Read and follow blueprints, programs, and machining specifications
Make offset adjustments and tool wear corrections as needed
Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all safety procedures and production standards
Document machining processes and production activity
What You’ll Bring
4+ years of CNC machining experience required
Ability to read and interpret G & M code and complex CNC programs
Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
Experience using gauges, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
Ability to make offsets, zero-point shifts, and machine adjustments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Technical training or education is a plus
Schedule & Pay
Training/Overlap: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Permanent Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
$26.16–$43.22/hr DOE + 15% Shift Differential (after training)
