Kelly Services is hiring an Assembly Specialist (Machine Assembler) in Farmington, CT!
Join a cutting-edge manufacturing environment where you’ll bring high-precision machinery to life. In this role, you’ll perform hands-on mechanical assembly using blueprints, schematics, and precision tools while ensuring every build meets strict quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Assemble mechanical components and machines using blueprints and schematics
Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical assemblies
Use precision tools (torque wrenches, gauges, indicators) to meet tolerances
Operate overhead crane to move large components during assembly
Follow quality standards and safety procedures
Maintain clean, organized work areas aligned with lean principles
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Support continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
2+ years of assembly experience OR 5+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, or service
Ability to read blueprints and basic schematics
Experience using precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read and measure in both inch and metric systems
Ability to work independently and within a team
Electrical wiring experience, forklift, or computer skills are a plus

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time
Direct Hire Opportunity
$26.00–$28.00/hr DOE
