Aerotek Inspector in Farmingdale, New York

Description

The Inspector is responsible for performing in‑process, final, and receiving inspection of machined and assembled aerospace components to ensure conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role supports AUSCO’s AS9100‑compliant manufacturing environment and works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.

Perform in‑process, final, and receiving inspections Inspect machined parts, sub‑assemblies, and finished assemblies Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T Use precision measurement equipment:

Calipers Micrometers Height gauges Pin gauges / indicators

Record inspection results and maintain traveler documentation Identify, document, and report non‑conforming material Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities (experience preferred) Communicate findings with Manufacturing and Engineering Maintain inspection records per quality requirements Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $42.90/hr.
