Job Title: Electrical Foreman Job Description

As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for expertly bending pipe using hand benders and hydraulic benders, installing conduit, and performing switchgear and terminations. Your role will involve running BX and MC cable, executing roughing tasks, and troubleshooting and wiring panels.

Responsibilities

  • Bend pipe using hand and hydraulic benders.

  • Install conduit and switchgear.

  • Perform terminations and roughing tasks.

  • Run and manage BX and MC cable installations.

  • Troubleshoot and wire panels efficiently.

  • Install outlets, switches, and various devices.

  • Pull cable and ensure proper conduit installations.

  • Oversee and guide electrical work as a working foreman.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in electrical troubleshooting.

  • Proficient in pipe bending and conduit work.

  • Working Foreman level electrical skills.

  • Experience in installing outlets, switches, and devices.

  • Proven ability in troubleshooting and service switchgear.

  • 8+ years of commercial electrical experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • SST 10-hour certification.

  • OSHA 30 certification.

  • Lift certification.

Work Environment

Projects start at 7:00 AM, and punctuality is essential. You must sign in and out daily with the foremen and carry all necessary PPE, tools, SST, and OSHA 30 certifications at all times. Technical ability in pipe work, panel wiring, and three-way switch wiring will be evaluated. The role requires independence, a positive attitude, and efficiency in task completion. Projects are primarily located at 451 10th Ave, where strict adherence to safety protocols, including drug testing mandated by DOB, is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
